Check Out This VERY Long Lasting Promotional Item!

Watch this short video to see why these incredible tumblers could be one of the best marketing values you will ever come across.
HINT: It is because they are nearly indestructible and will last pretty much forever. How does that sound for the lifespan of a marketing product?

Holiday Gift Season Is Here!!!

Well here we are again at that time of year when many of you start to drive us crazy looking for the perfect holiday business gifts. And we love it! For 24 years October and November have been by far our busiest months as people scramble to find the right items to show appreciation to customers and/or employees.
When it comes to holiday gifts businesses needs can vary greatly. Some have a large customer base who spend smaller amounts with them while others may have only a few customers that account for the majority of their business. Whether you fall into one of these categories or somewhere in between we have the appropriate gifts for your needs.
A few things to consider when choosing business gifts:
1) The number of gifts needed and a budget.
2) Do you prefer to give a gift that is to be used by the recipient personally or at work.
3) Will you be delivering the gifts locally or will they need to be shipped. (This is a very important consideration as some items are much more costly to ship than others.)
4) Will they be for individuals or for an entire office. If for an office you might want to consider food gifts which are a great way to avoid the sometimes difficult task of deciding who gets a gift and who doesn't. Everyone can share with food gifts!

If you haven't already taken care of your gift needs this year just give us a call and based on the above criteria we will put together a selection to meet your particular needs. As of now we have plenty of time to produce and deliver anything that you might choose. Please keep in mind however that the closer we get to the end of the year the more likely it is that we will run into inventory issues that can substantially limit your options. We look forward to hearing from you!

A.N.S.I. Certified Logo Hardhats

Immediately before I was in the promotional business I was a safety engineer for an insurance company so it would stand to reason that I would feature a safety product occasionally. Well here one is. These are not "ceremonial" hard hats but the real deal. They are A.N.S.I certified and come in several colors including several florescent ones. If you are in a hazardous profession these would look great with your logo so call us today!

A Message About U.S.A. Made Promotional Products

Happy July! We hope you had a great Independence Day. Please watch this video for a message about USA MADE products which we are promoting this month since July is the "birth month" of our nation. After watching the video there are links below it to some of our key suppliers that offer made in the USA products. We encourage you to explore the links so you can see there are great opportunities (and values) for promotional items made right here at home!

Spotlight On A Customer Who Demands USA Made Products

We would like to introduce you to Jim Rowland of J & T Service Center in Lincolnton GA. Jim is someone who USA made items are extremely important to. In fact he will NOT buy anything that is not USA made unless it is absolutely not available from here. And even then he will rethink what he is trying to accomplish and look for alternatives that are made here that will meet his objectives.
By the way if your business has a need for industrial diesel generators give JT Service Center a call and support a fantastic family owned business. Check them out:

Unique Golf Themed Promotional Item

Here is an item that you would probably never think of us for. In fact we just discovered it ourselves. The "Bunkerstamp" is perfect for companies that sponsor a lot of corporate golf outings. It is made of molded rubber and is reusable for years. Imagine every player seeing your logo/message in bunkers all over the course. And they are easy to use. Just set the template down and walk around on it. Remove the stamp and there it is!
These are also highly popular at conventions, tradeshows, etc that are held near beaches. The novelty of seeing logos on the beach has created substantial "buzz" for companies that have used them there. Plus they are made in the USA!

Smart Phone Screen Cleaner Makes A Great Promo Item!

Everybody loves their smart phones but a problem with them is they always seems to be dirty. Check out this neat little solution. They peel off of the phone for a quick screen clean and then go right back in place for future use. Reusable hundreds of times and of course we can put your full color logo and message on them!

Promo Longevity At It's Finest

Another example of the longevity of promo items. On our 15th anniversary in 2003 we gave these simple refrigerator magnets out. Last week I was with Lynn Mcdonald at R.A. Dudley Nursery in Thomson GA and there it was. Nine years later and it is still on her file cabinet for her and everyone that comes in her office to see. Not a bad return on a $.20 investment!

BTW in addition to being great customers and folks and a top notch nursery they also grow THE hedges...as in "Between the Hedges"...if
that term doesn't mean anything to you then you should consider watching more college football...specifically more UGA football :)

Walking Advertising

OK gotta admit that when I first saw this I thought it was silly and gimmicky but then I thought about it. These could make a great attention grabber especially at trade shows and outdoor events. Who wouldn't notice something like this in bright colors walking thru a crowd? Could your company benefit from this kind of exposure?

CREE Flashlight Technology...INCREDIBLE!

Occasionally a customer will educate me on my own business. Such was the case recently when attorney Richard West of West, Green & Associates told me about "CREE" flashlights. (CREE is actually a type of bulb technology, not a flashlight brand) He described them as incredible and wanted to see if we could provide them with his law firms name on them. Well I got the samples in this week and incredible is an understatement. We have long sold many brands of lights including Mag Lites and I am sure will continue to do so, but in the future I will suggest that our flashlight prospects at least consider the CREE option. I do not claim to be an expert on lights but I do know bright when I see it and they are VERY bright. And they all have a distinguished look and feel that make them perfect for corporate gift giving. If you have a need for high end lights ($20 to $90 range) give us a call and we will be happy to send you a sample so you can experience the difference between CREE lighting and any other that you have ever seen. And thanks to Richard for bringing them to our attention. You can see some of our CREE selection here     http://goo.gl/4MWrq

Old Promo Item Still Working Hard!

I wanted to share with you a simple story that illustrates the power of promotional products. My son was excited this weekend to play in a lacrosse tournament in the Citrus Bowl. Which is a big deal when you are 13. (Even if the 70,000 seat stadium only had 70 people total. Maybe). While there Sunday morning Christina noticed someone carrying a cooler that she thought was one that we produced. Of course I "stalked" that person to their vehicle and sure enough there was the Rio Piedra Plantation cooler shown below that we printed for them many years ago.

Rio not only uses these for promotional products. They also serve a second purpose which is to transport home the game that their guests kill. And they work well on both fronts as evidenced by the fact that this one is still being used. The gentleman was not sure when he was at Rio but he said it had been "many" years and that he planned on going back soon with some friends from Atlanta. Furthermore I was telling this story to someone later in the day and they were interested in learning more as they enjoy hunting also. Here we were 288 miles from Rio (I googled it!) and something as simple as a nylon cooler was generating interest with both existing and potential clients many years after it was given away. Promotional products work!!!

P.S. If you are a hunter OR ever need to entertain customers who enjoy hunting there is no where better than Rio Piedra. It is a beautiful award winning plantation in Camilla, GA.

How Recognizable Is Your Brand?

All businesses spend marketing dollars toward a variety of objectives. Gain new customers. Increase sales with existing ones. Promote a new product or service. Drive traffic to a special event. There are almost unlimited reasons to market your business and  those reasons change. Sometimes often. One consistent objective of marketing though should be brand recognition. Is your business presence in your community or within the markets that you serve such that when someone sees your logo/company name or even just a portion if it that they will instantly think of you? That question came to me last week when my 13 year old approached me to play a new game on his mothers iPhone. It is a "logo game" where the objective is to guess the name of international companies by seeing just a portion of their logos. It is fun and addicting and you can download it here if you have an iPhone. http://goo.gl/kTXbi    If (like me) you do not have an iPhone you can play a similar game here on your computer. http://goo.gl/b3ezr

While no one reading this newsletter has the marketing budgets of the companies featured in these games we should all strive to do what these companies have done and make our companies visually recognizable within the geographic/market areas that we operate within. Of course at Morris Marketing we feel like promotional products can help you to accomplish this. The personal nature and longevity of promotional products make them excellent tools for brand recognition. Give us a call to discuss ideas that can make your name and image the "Coca-Cola" of your particular market place!

With the hot summer months coming up who wouldn't appreciate an eight foot umbrella to escape from the sun? And with a large canopy comes a large image area for your company logo....up to 2 feet wide. Useful in both sun and rain and its uniqueness assures that it will be noticed and remembered. Great at the beach or outdoor sporting events. Comes with a carrying case and includes tie down cords and stakes. Priced under $90 with minimum order being only 25 umbrellas.

Custom Printed Tablecloths Offer High Visibility!

Bet you would not have thought of us for tablecloths like this one that we did for my good friend Samantha Blyn at Making the Difference Outreach. Samantha was participating in a fundraising event and wanted her logo and message to be highly visible. Mission accomplished thanks to this stark white tablecloth and her bright logo which is actually printed on all four sides so you can't miss it no matter where you are standing. By the way be sure to check out this great organization at www.makingthedifference.us

P.S. The water bottles on the table are by Morris Marketing as well!

My Very Brave Neighbor

Easily our most meaningful T-shirts ever because they were for the CureSearch Walk for Children's Cancer and our neighbor Karli Leonard who had a very recent battle with cancer. She is a tough and brave young lady. She is the goofy one. In the pink shorts.
